Summer 2025 WINNERS
WWIFF has established a method where entries are acknowledged for their own unique merits rather than competing against one another, ensuring that each film is examined and rated individually.
They essentially compete against themselves since each entry is evaluated according to its own merits and assigned a score based on a set of innate values.
When it is your turn to be judged, the judges concentrate on your film rather than all the other films that are in queue. This ensures that they won't be thinking about comparisons when they should be thinking only about YOU.
The winning entries are recognized and awarded not only for Best Of Festival and Best Of Show, but also for two Awards of Excellence levels, two Awards of Merit levels, a Kudos Endeavor Award, or no award at all. Judges score entries on a performance scale.
Entries with very extraordinary artistic and technical achievements are awarded Awards of Excellence; the top scoring entries for each season receive Best Of Festival & Best of Show honors; and notable achievements are acknowledged at the Merit and 'Kudos' award levels.
Best of Festival and Best of Show films are selected
by category and region.
